I am one of those artists who begin a career with conventional art material and skilled in practical techniques, obsolete for a few years and came back in the digital age. I was 30 when I started learning computer graphics 9 years ago and 3D technology is new to many industries even till now, there is no demand thus no career advancement. So I went on to multimedia and into video game.
The year 2008 marked a significant change in the 3D industry where ordinary people have access to powerful free software I once paid installment to acquire, as I have anticipated that 3D has gone to home user. There will be more collaborative 3D oriented designs and the demand for quality 3D models will rise in the next few years, real-time movie has emerged so as product catalog, 3D presentation and photo-video album.
My website is about reusable assets and promotes Do It Yourself publications with available free software that I know of, from 3D web design to project documentation. Create 3D graphics that does not require talent or skill, you will find templates with easy to follow step by step tutorial in each category as it becomes available.
Artists and IT developer must contribute towards common goal to be recognized in the new era and I am glad that it is happening, enjoy my free contents.
